PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L. is the owner, license holder, developer and/or commercial distributor of various plant varieties, hybrids, breeding lines, clones and commercial denominations related to species of the genus Paulownia.
These include, but are not limited to:

as well as any other variety, genetic selection, hybrid, experimental line or commercial denomination developed, registered, licensed or marketed by PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L., whether now or in the future.
The inclusion or omission of any variety from this list shall not affect any intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, plant breeders’ rights, genetic rights or commercial rights belonging to PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L.
Protection of Hybrids and Genetic Descendants
The protection granted to the plant varieties and breeding programs of PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L. extends to:
Hybrids derived from protected varieties.
Parental lines.
Controlled crosses.
Derived genetic material.
Progeny obtained through sexual or vegetative reproduction.
Clonal selections.
Selected mutations.
Backcrosses.
Breeding lines.
In vitro material.
Meristematic material.
Essentially derived plant material.
Any commercial use, reproduction, propagation, registration, multiplication, selection or exploitation of derived material may require the prior written authorization of PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L.
Research and Development
PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L. maintains ongoing research, selection and breeding programs focused on the development of new plant varieties with specific characteristics related to climate adaptation, timber production, biomass yield, oxygen generation, carbon sequestration, pest resistance, cold tolerance, soil adaptability, flowering performance, beekeeping potential and other forestry, agricultural, ornamental and industrial applications.
Experimental, pre-commercial and evaluation-stage varieties shall also be considered protected against unauthorized use, reproduction or commercialization.
International Protection
PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L. may apply for and maintain plant variety rights, breeders’ rights, plant patents, trademarks, commercial denominations, genetic registrations and any other legal protection mechanisms available under the laws of Spain, the European Union and third countries.
The company expressly reserves all present and future rights relating to plant varieties, hybrids, genetic material, breeding programs, technological developments and intellectual assets resulting from its research and development activities.
Genetic Assets and Strategic Intellectual Property
PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L. considers plant genetics, proprietary varieties, breeding programs, genetic resources, technical know-how and associated scientific knowledge to be strategic assets essential to the long-term sustainability, competitiveness and innovation capacity of the company.
Accordingly, PAULOWNIA PROFESSIONAL S.L. expressly reserves all rights relating to the ownership, development, licensing, reproduction, commercialization, exploitation and protection of such assets under applicable national and international legislation.
