Paulownia ZE Pro®
Format
Bare-root tree

Paulownia Ze Pro® – Tree 2.5 m is a bare-root Paulownia tree, already formed, with lignified stem and root system selected for transplanting. It is an advanced triple hybrid P. Fortunei × P. Tomentosa × P. Kawakamii.

Format and Supply

Supplied bare-root and planted as soon as possible after delivery. The purpose of the format is to protect the roots during transport and support orderly planting, with clear, identifiable and manageable plant material from delivery.

Variety and Application

ZE Pro® is an advanced triple hybrid: industrial line with more controlled crown, straight stem and strong orientation to timber production. Useful for technical plantations, biomass and projects where density, training and yield per hectare must be managed carefully.

Main Use

light timber, biomass, professional plantations, CO2 capture projects, agronomic trials and technical Paulownia cultivation. Format choice depends on project size, transport distance, planting season and the development level required on delivery.

Climate and Site

Suitable for Central Europe and continental climates with moderate to cold winters. Recommended for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and inland France, especially when timber plantations require more controlled crown development.

Flowering and Ornamental Value

Light violet, early flowering useful for pollinators, with a more organised crown for timber plantation management.

Expected Result

With prepared soil, support irrigation and correct early management, it allows the establishment of a vigorous, well-rooted Paulownia aligned with the real project objective.

Cultivation

Cultivation Conditions

ZE Pro®. It is an advanced triple hybrid P. Fortunei × P. Tomentosa × P. Kawakamii. Supplied bare-root and planted as soon as possible after delivery. Delivery: check moisture and plant condition on arrival; keep roots protected and prepare deep, loose and drained soil before planting.

Growing Zones

Suitable for Central Europe and continental climates with moderate to cold winters. Recommended for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and inland France, especially when timber plantations require more controlled crown development.

Site and Position

Preferably full sun, with deep, aerated and drained soil. In professional plantations, prioritise correct spacing, weed control, support irrigation and stem training from the first cycle.

Melliferous Value

Early flowering and a more organised crown allow this variety to fit plantations where bee activity is valued without complicating stem management.

Irrigation

Hydrate roots if transport has been long, plant promptly and apply deep settling irrigation. During the first weeks, maintain regular moisture without waterlogging.

Aroma and Flowering

Light violet, early flowering useful for pollinators, with a more organised crown for timber plantation management.
