Format
Bare-root tree

Paulownia Leoparda® – Tree 1.5 m is a bare-root Paulownia tree, already formed, with lignified stem and root system selected for transplanting. It is an advanced hybrid P. Fortunei × P. Kawakamii.

Format and Supply

Supplied bare-root and planted as soon as possible after delivery. The purpose of the format is to protect the roots during transport and support orderly planting, with clear, identifiable and manageable plant material from delivery.

Variety and Application

Leoparda® is an ornamental-productive hybrid: variety with striking flowering, large leaves, fast growth and strong landscape presence. Ideal for large gardens, estates, avenue planting, shade, beekeeping and projects where visual character and vigour are both important.

Main Use

gardening, landscaping, private estates, avenue planting, visual screens, shade, garden design, dust retention, vegetal acoustic value and outdoor decoration. Format choice depends on project size, transport distance, planting season and the development level required on delivery.

Climate and Site

Suitable for mild Mediterranean, temperate and warm-temperate climates. In gardens it needs space, light and support irrigation to form a broad crown and show striking flowering.

Flowering and Ornamental Value

A striking flower display with inner markings and decorative contrast. Its flowering gives character to the garden and creates an uncommon image among ornamental Paulownias.

Expected Result

With prepared soil, support irrigation and correct early management, it allows the establishment of a vigorous, well-rooted Paulownia aligned with the real project objective.

Cultivation

Cultivation Conditions

Leoparda®. It is an advanced hybrid P. Fortunei × P. Kawakamii. Supplied bare-root and planted as soon as possible after delivery. Delivery: check moisture and plant condition on arrival; keep roots protected and prepare deep, loose and drained soil before planting.

Growing Zones

Suitable for mild Mediterranean, temperate and warm-temperate climates. In gardens it needs space, light and support irrigation to form a broad crown and show striking flowering.

Site and Position

Preferably full sun, with aerated and drained soil. In gardens, leave space for crown, shade, flower display, fragrance and the ornamental role of the tree within the garden design.

Melliferous Value

Its striking flowering acts almost like a living decorative feature: it attracts bees, supports biodiversity and gives the garden a flower scene with strong character.

Irrigation

Hydrate roots if transport has been long, plant promptly and apply deep settling irrigation. During the first weeks, maintain regular moisture without waterlogging.

Aroma and Flowering

A striking flower display with inner markings and decorative contrast. Its flowering gives character to the garden and creates an uncommon image among ornamental Paulownias.
